Zoria Lewis, Student, Mount Waddy Primary School, Friendship, JamaicaApril 14th, 2014 was a very special day to me because Michael Folkes explained to the Mt Waddyians how he would help us with our school fees, lunches and books. This Foundation will make me maintain my grades and become more focused and develop much more in my work. This Foundation will help my mother a lot with my school fee and sending me to school. This foundation is like a gift to me. It will make me proud and not just me but my family too, as well as my teachers who have helped me from grade one through to grade six and teaching me right from wrong. This is a chance for me to shine and to become a better person in life.

The Foundation's vision is to help children and our youth to create their own pathway to success by recognizing and embracing the opportunities that exist around them and exhibit Mighty In Character traits with a no border no barrier mentality way of life.
Mission
To Inspire, educate, transform, guide and challenge the younger generation in the MIC Leader way and identifying future leaders who will champion the Foundation’s commitment to perpetual prosperity and preservation of its legacy.
This vision is becoming a reality as Michael implements a number of initiatives to improve educational opportunities, foster economic development, provide health and wellness programs and create a competitive platform to the students and wider community of Friendship, in the island nation of Jamaica, West Indies and the U.S.
